Precast Escape Tunnel

Precast was contracted to design and build a precast escape tunnel from rock mining company in Somerset County New Jersey. On this box culvert project Precast Manufacturing coordinated on-site with the owner to design the best option.
Project specialists from PMC measured the existing building over the mine shaft and designed a precast concrete collar to fit over top of the structure and tie into a 30′ escape tunnel. The process was smooth and went per schedule.
